The Value of Melmire
3rd Quarter Ending Analysis; Year of The Durvelliun
With all varieties of melmire on the rise, one cannot possibly make bad choices in their investments these days. One can, of course, always make better choices.
Green(G) continues to maintain its envious standing above all other colors as both the rarest and most valuable of melmire. To date, statistics for this year's annual Melmire Harvest show only a 1.6% yielding of Green. As such, Green gems are unlikely to find their way into public domain. Still, the unfaltering usefulness of this color should guarantee that everyone benefits from its value well into the years ahead - the prosperity of Tir'Seollace should attest to that forecast. Despite their relatively low values, Dark(D) and Light(L) Melmire both remain on the Elite side of the Melmire spectrum, with Light (10.1% annual yield) only barely surpassing Yellow(Y) (11.2% annual yield) in rarity. Dark and Light, being absent of the properties which seem to make their counterparts so useful, typically garner little interest among traders. However, the opaque attributes of Dark Melmire, which are unique to it alone, seem to have sparked a new trend in the trade. A sudden surge in popularity has made Dark Melmire a highly sought after commodity in niche markets. Get in on the action while you can, as the duration of this trend is unpredictable. Blue(B), has made a significant jump in value since last quarter, due to new discoveries in the field of tranquility drugs, many of which now utilize the calming attributes of Blue Melmire to increase their potency. At only 6.8% annual yield, this variant of Melmire is considerably rare, and, in the stressful world which we live today, the demand for Blue Melmire can only be expected to rise. Throughout the quarter, the Lower Mid-Range has been dominated by Yellow and Orange(O), battling one another for fourth in terms of rarity, with Yellow finally making a decisive leap ahead at quarter's end. At the Common side of the spectrum on the far end, Purple(P) and Red(R) have received the poor reputation as 'vanity gems' - finding themselves stuck in the same spot for the last six quarters in a row. Yet it should be realized that a worthy collection of Common gems (especially of Orange and Purple) can be just as valuable as a small collection of Elite gems. Until next Quarter, May the blessings of your investments carry you forward, with prosperity and good fortune.
